Vex Robotics Club
INVITE ONLY
STEM and Mentorship

Semester One
Students start with an introduction to the new parts, controllers and sensors, and start off by building the Drivetrain and pulley system, easy to build and the key component to every robot.
Students then program and complete various challenges, to finally come to their final and best version of their initial robot, which will then compete in the in-house competition.
Semester Two
Now that the students are familiar with several designs that can be created, its time for designing the best robot for the upcoming International VEX IQ Game, while strategizing and competing with other students’ robots, the students once again try to achieve the best design through trial and error.
Programming
Robots bring code to life and students have a first-hand experience of how their learning can impact the real world. With the help of RobotC, students use math and engineering elements that come together to form a solution to a real problem.
